Ready to take the first step?
There are a number of great ways to start your journey into swing dancing!

• Join a pre-dance lesson: Many of the swing dance events that you see on the calendar already have a beginner lesson before the dance. This is a great way to learn the basic steps, while meeting people with whom you can dance during the event. Some regular events that have a class prior include: (Be sure to check the event to confirm the lesson schedule!)
  • Bainbridge Swing Dance: First Saturday of the Month – Beginning jitterbug lesson – 8-9p
  • Swing Dancing at the Rialto: Second and Fourth Wednesdays of the Month – Advanced Lesson ($10) – 6-7p Beginning lessons ($5) – 7-8p
  • The Land Lindy Hop (live music!): Second Friday of the month – Beginning lesson 7:00-7:30pm

• Sign up for a beginner progressive classes: Perhaps the best way to learn the fundamentals of various forms of swing dancing.
